Research Presentations

During two years of the Master's Course, each student makes many presentations on his or her research results. The department/course holds a mid-term reporting session and a final reporting session in each of which every student makes an oral presentation. There are many other opportunities to make oral and/or poster presentations in various conferences held by various academic societies.

Teaching Assistants

Students have many opportunities to work as a teaching assistant. Teaching someone something is a good experience; you will deeply understand the subject, and your communication skills will be improved.



Study room

Students can use a study room freely. It is located in Faculty of Science and Engineering Building 8 (room number 602).

Usually, the room is open from 8:30 to 17:30 on weekdays.

Prizes

Students with high achievements are awarded by academic societies.
・ Awards from Kyushu branch of The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ)
 (to one graduate from the undergraduate course and to one graduate from the master's course)
・ Awards from Kyushu section of The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE)
 (to one graduate from the undergraduate course and to one graduate from the master's course)

Furthermore, some students are awarded for their research achievements and/or great presentations from a variety of academic societies.




Graduation celebration party

In the party, every graduate receives a master's degree. Some students get the above-mentioned prizes and awards for their achievements.
